A Christmassy project I have been working on recently is some Christmas cutlery pockets. The problem with being a crafty person is that you often end up hoarding craft supplies. In an effort to prevent the situation from becoming completely out of hand, I try to only buy…

Creative invitations for February, on the theme of Creative invitations for February, on the theme of thresholds:

Spot thresholds and make a written or mental list

Make something woven to symbolise February as a gate between winter and spring

Notice things that feel undecided or in between, both objects and impressions. You might like to explore them in a collage

Begin something with no intention of finishing it

February is the doorway between winter and spring February is the doorway between winter and spring 💚🤍🌱❄️

Colour schemes for February 💚🤍 February always se Colour schemes for February 💚🤍

February always seems like a green and white kind of month. Snowdrops, obviously, but also I'm surprised at how much green there is at the beginning of February. The lack of leaves make the greens of moss and lichen, and of evergreens, more noticeable.

By the end of February, there'll be blossom, and maybe even a few leaves 💚🤍💚🌱💮
